Mark "Tewar Tewarson is multi-instrumentalist, composer and producer based out of Broooklyn, New York. His compositions have been used in TV shows, commercials and film. Recently, he worked on the film "The Two Escobars" which premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival and is now on ESPN. Commercially, Mark has worked for Amber Music as well as The Lodge, his tracks have been used by major companies like Playskool, Liberty Mutual, Taco Bell, Victoria's Secret, Vh1 and MTV. In 2001 he was awarded BMI's prestigious John Lennon Songwriting Award, and he also just recieved a "Best of 2010" award from the Songwriter's Hall of Fame. As a guitarist/bassist he has played and recorded for many different artists, bands and producers like Patti Smith, Feist, DJ Spinna, Tracey Thorn (Everything but the Girl), N'dea Davenport (Brand New Heavies), and John Popper (Blues Traveler), to name a few. He also plays guitar and drums in the hit broadway musical "Jersey Boys". As a member of the bands Topaz, Falu, Escort, Tortured Soul and Bajah and the Dry Eye Crew, Mark has toured extensively and shared the stage with acts like James Brown, Widespread Panic, Norah Jones, The Roots, The Wailers, The Strokes, and many others. In February 2010 he perfomed at Carnegie Hall in Phillip Glass's Tibet House production alongside Iggy Pop, Patti Smith, Regina Spektor and Gogol Bordello.
